Job Overview

Passion, destination knowledge and exceptional customer service are key requirements as a Travel Designer. Having lived, worked or travelled extensively in the countries that you sell, you’ll create unique and bespoke itineraries for your clients, ensuring that everything about their trip suits their needs, ideas and fulfils their dreams. Every trip you create will be extraordinary.

Driven to succeed in sales, as a Travel Designer you will take personal accountability for your own targets, goals, service scores and client portfolio. With uncapped commission you will have the opportunity to take control of your own income. With the care of our clients being of utmost importance, the ability to deliver exceptional customer service is absolutely essential for this role but should come naturally to you as a travel designer.

Qualities we’re looking for

  • In depth travel experience and first hand knowledge of India
  • Results orientated and comfortable working in a target driven environment
  • Naturally driven and self-motivated
  • Enthusiastic, upbeat and positive
  • Friendly and personable
  • Excellent customer service flowing from genuinely caring about customer experience
  • Strong attention to detail , time management and organisation skills
  • Outstanding communication skills – verbal, written and listening
  • Happy in a fast-paced and evolving environment
  • Ability to problem solve and perform in a time pressured environment
  • Computer / tech literate
  • Able to work flexible hours including some weekends and evenings
  • Degree level education or equivalent preferred but not essential
  • Legally able to work in the UK

Key Accountabilities:

  • The design and sale of high quality, bespoke holidays for our diverse client base. You are ultimately responsible for the planning, selling and implementation of the itineraries, as well as the during and post travel care
  • To make the most of every single genuine enquiry allocated to you
  • Organising your time well to ensure maximum efficiency and profit
  • To achieve exceptional levels of client service at all stages of the process and to encourage repeat business
  • Keeping in touch with product developments in your region, ensuring that you remain a true country specialist with up to date commercial knowledge and understanding of hotels/flights/infrastructure
  • Demonstrate a total commitment to customer service. It's your goal to ensure all clients return home can’t wait to tell their friends and family about us
  • To successfully negotiate, persuade and handle price objections and identify opportunities to sell additional product or services of value to the customer
