Giraffe Manor, Nairobi

Set on 12 acres of private land on the Lantaga suburb of Nairobi, the exclusive Giraffe Manor boasts 140 acres of indigenous forest which is home to a herd of wild Rothschild Giraffe. The friendly giraffes often visit during breakfast or dinner when they poke their long necks through the windows, sniffing out treats from hotel guests.

An overnight stay to the Manor is sure to be unforgettable. The iconic building dates back to the 1930s and is modelled on a Scottish hunting lodge =- albeit in a sunnier climate, and features a sunny terrace, expansive, lush gardens, and colonial architecture. You can take a guided walk through the forest sanctuary, stroll across the lawn to the nearby Giraffe Centre, or enjoy afternoon tea on the terrace as the sun sets behind you. Whatever you opt for, you can be sure of plenty of photo opportunities to make your friends jealous!
