Phnom Penh Cyclo Tour
After breakfast at your hotel, you’ll begin your tour with a Tuk Tuk ride to the historical French Quarter of Phnom Penh. Continue to visit the Royal Palace, built during built in 1866 at the end of the French colonial era. The vast compound houses the Silver Pagoda, named for the 5,000 heavy silver tiles that adorn its floors. You’ll also have the chance to admire the collection of Buddhas, crafted in gold, silver, crystal, and bronze.
Continue on to the National Museum, built in traditional Khmer style and surrounded by lush gardens. Housing the world's foremost collection of ancient Khmer artefacts dating back to the 4th century.
You’ll then have time for a visit to the ‘Russian Market’ – a must-see for any visitor to Phnom Penh. Test out your bargaining skills as you wander through the heaving stalls filled with souvenirs, local handicrafts, and branded goods (authenticity not guaranteed!). There’s also some great food stalls if you fancy a snack after your morning sightseeing.
