Luang Prabang at Night

Experience city life at night with the locals! Firstly, your evening tour will kick off with a friendly game of petanque, played by locals every evening who will welcome the extra competition.

Following this, it’s onwards and upwards to the top of Mount Phousi, a 100 metre high hill in the centre of Luang Prabang. The aim is to get to the top before the sun sets over the surrounding countryside, a picture-perfect moment you’re guaranteed to want to capture!

After stumbling back down the 328 steps of Mount Phousi, it’s onto a vibrant night market, filled of street food and souvenirs. Wonder through the colourful market stalls, bartering with the locals and enjoying the hustle and bustle of Luang Prabang at night.

Much like the British, the people of Laos love a barbecue. Enjoy a sociable barbecue at a riverside shop where you’ll cook your own meat and vegetable while enjoying an ice cold drink. If you fancy something a little more cultured for dinner, at an additional cost, you can enjoy a set menu at Tangor restaurant instead.
