Street Food Tour of Hue

Your evening starts with a drink in one of Hue's popular bars, then you’ll continue onto a local restaurant where you’ll sample Hue's best street food: Beo cake, Nam cake, Loc cake, Bun Bo Hue (beef vermicelli), Banh Khoai (fried pancake with shrimp, pork, eggs and bean sprouts) – our mouths are already watering! Your guide will tell you all about the history of these delicious dishes. After dinner, you’ll be whisked to the Imperial Citadel Ramparts to get a feel of the evening local entertainment where you’ll taste yet more tasty specialities, this time – BBQ dishes, or some more adventurous options if you dare!

A short stroll will take you to the grounds of the historic Citadel, past the food stalls and games being played by locals. Finish your night tour with a delicious local dessert in a back-street eatery, then return to your hotel around 21:30.

The simple memory of eating a bowl of Pho whilst watching the sunset in Halong Bay is one of my fondest from my time living in Vietnam. The wonderful warm people, incredible nature and fantastic food of Vietnam will always keep me coming back.
