Discover the CN Tower

Towering at an impressive height of 553 metres, Toronto’s CN Tower is North America’s tallest structure and undeniably the focal point of its dramatic city skyline. Seeing it from the ground is impressive in itself, but there’s no better way to experience it than to step inside and venture up to the top - don’t worry, there are lifts (glass-fronted so you can enjoy the views) and in fact, you will be right up at the ‘top of the world’ in just 58 seconds!

Views are unsurprisingly phenomenal, and the floor-to-ceiling panoramic walls make it even more spectacular. You can see the huge blue expanse of Lake Ontario dotted with boats and if it’s a clear day, you may even see Niagara Falls!

There’s plenty to do in the tower. Your ticket gives you access to the glass floor if you’re feeling brave enough to walk, shuffle or even jump your way across it, as well as interactive films, a motion theatre ride and other special exhibits. If you’re feeling peckish or fancy a drink you can enjoy a meal with a view from the revolving restaurant while you watch the brave souls taking part in the EdgeWalk around the outside of the tower. Feeling daring or looking for a photo to make everyone at home gasp? Then why not give it a go yourself?

Highlights

  • Enjoy the views from the top of North America’s third tallest building

  • Brave a walk across the glass walkway – look down if you dare!

Let's talk
Born in Toronto, I spent two years living in British Columbia after university, where I was completely taken by the incredible wilderness and adventure opportunities. Since then, I’ve been lucky enough to travel extensively in the vast country of my birth, as well as in Alaska. Highlights have included observing the polar bears of Hudson Bay, viewing coastal Alaskan brown bears in Katmai National Park and spending time in the beautiful walled city of Quebec.
