Niagara Falls tour with lunch, Niagara-on-the-Lake

With its thunderous roar and tumbling mist, Niagara Falls is an absolute must during your time in Canada. This experience will take you to the heart of the action in comfort. The adventure begins the moment you hop aboard your spacious air-conditioned coach in Toronto and travel through the spectacular orchard-laden Niagara Peninsula towards the world-famous falls, taking around 90 minutes. The Niagara region, while probably best known for its most famous landmark, is also renowned for its fantastic wine. It would be a shame not to see what all the fuss is about, so we’ve scheduled in a winery and tasting tour too where you can sample some of the popular reds and whites.

Then it’s back on the road and on to meet the deafening beast itself. You’ll get up close and personal with the dramatic falls from the decks of the legendary Hornblower cruise boat, getting you as close as possible to the mighty falls – be prepared to get wet!

You’ll hear the rumbling of the water echo in your ears for a good while as you move away from the falls and back towards dry land where you can look and marvel at them from a drier distance while you enjoy a leisurely meal overlooking the raging waters.

Before heading back to your hotel, there’s time to explore the picturesque town of Niagara itself. Set on the iconic lake, you’ll have free time to enjoy the quirky buildings, shops and restaurants that are full of character.

This experience can also be enjoyed if you're staying in Niagara-on-the-Lake.

Finally spotting a pod of transient orca breaching the surface of the Pacific Ocean after hours of searching with our guide is one of the many incredible memories I love to share from my two years of living in and travelling across Canada.
