Let's talk
Living and working in Italy taught me their beautiful language and a deep appreciation for their food! Even the smallest of towns (perched on the Ligurian coast and with only 25 houses) had a church, bakery, pasta shop and deli. And my neighbour would catch fresh fish in the morning for us to eat each night – delicious!

Places to go in Italy

Starting in the north, witness the epic Italian Alps towering over pristine blue lakes. Heading south you’ll stop from a gondola ride in Venice before you make it to the rolling hills of Tuscany. There, you can sample wines in the countryside and visit art galleries in Florence. Then continue on to Rome where you’ll get lost in a whirlwind of classical architecture and epic history, and we can certainly recommend a pizzeria or two! Tired of cities, visit the stunning beaches along the Amalfi Coast and the Italian Riviera. And if you’ve seen the highlights, dive into the historical villages of San Gimignano in Tuscany or Sirmione, perched on the cliffs at the bottom of Lake Garda. Don’t forget a visit to Sicily for the most delicious arancini and cannoli we’ve ever tasted, and to see how much the culture and flavours can change from one region to the next.
