Once checked into Adare Manor you’ll enjoy relaxing in the spa before a candlelit 5-course dinner. From here it’s on to the 1832 French-château-style mansion, The K Club, where you can play a round on a Ryder Cup Course and enjoy afternoon tea on the canal.

This exciting trip to Ireland includes international flights, private transfers, excursions, accommodation and some meals.

From the first conversation until you arrive home from your holiday, you’ll be looked after by one of our Travel Designers who has travelled extensively in the region and will give advice from their personal experience on how to make the most out of your trip. Ready to see Ireland in style? You’ll touch down in Dublin and be whisked off by private transfer to the 5-star Westbury Hotel. Why not unwind with a drink in the 30’s inspired cocktail bar before heading to The Fire Restaurant for your dinner reservation.

Wake up and tuck into a full Irish breakfast before heading out on a panoramic tour of Dublin city. You’ll take a look around Trinity College, home to the renowned 9th century Book of Kells, before heading on to St Patrick’s Cathedral, the oldest Christian site in the city. Afterwards you’ll head to the Guinness Storehouse for a private guided tour from the ground floor up to the fourth, before being treated to afternoon tea at The Westbury. Tuck into an enticing selection of sandwiches, scones and patisseries, sample tea from around the globe and indulge in a glass of Perrier-Jouët Blason Rosé.

Ashford Castle

Activity and Adventure

Ready to live like royalty? Today you’ll travel across the midlands to County Mayo where you’ll be staying in the 5-star Ashford Castle. During your time here you’ll enjoy a cruise on Lough Corrib, which you’ll catch from Ashford Castle Pier. Over the course of an hour and fifteen minutes a local historian and boat captain will take you back in time as you soak up the stunning scenery of the Lough Corrib. You’ll pass some of the 365 islands, visit The Old Steamers Quay and enjoy views over Lord Ardilaun Obelisk. Back at the castle you’ll find time to explore the interior, wander through the walled gardens and wander by ancient trees and wildlife in the woodland. That evening you’ll dine in The George V Dining Room which was built in 1905 to host King George the V, during his visit to the Castle.

The next morning after breakfast, you'll take a full day excursion to Connemara in County Galway. Visit Kylemore Abbey, a former home of Benedictine Nuns, it's lakeside position is particularly scenic. Back at the castle you can choose from a range of activities; try your hand at falconry, go fishing or visit Cong village.

Adare

General Tour

Bid farewell to the castle and continue south to Galway city. Here you’ll have time to stop and take a stroll around the popular picturesque streets of Galway. Watch street performers, check out a local pub or shop in the quirky boutiques and galleries. It’s time to move again, this time journeying further southward through The Burren – a karst lunarlike landscape like nowhere you’ve ever seen before. Get to know the area better with a cruise from Doolin that affords splendid views of the Cliffs of Moher, before continuing on to the 5-star neo-gothic hotel Adare Manor. Once you’ve checked in, head down for a candlelit dinner in the Oak Room.

Take the next day to rest and enjoy the beautiful resort of Adare Manor. Why not relax in the luxury spa, take a restorative stroll through the woods or go on a horse and carriage ride through the 840-acre estate. Keen golfers may like to enjoy a round at the course here which offers a spectacular golfing experience in breath-taking surroundings. Alternatively, trips can be arranged to the 15th Bunratty Castle and 19th century Folk Park. And if the idea driving a Jaguar through Irish countryside sounds like your idea of a good time? That too can be arranged.

Dublin

General Tour

Today you’re off to The K Club, a stunning 1832 French-château-style mansion and resort. Spend the day as you like; enjoy a round of golf on the Ryder Cup Course, relax in the spa, try your hand at clay pigeon shooting or go horse riding. Got someone to impress? Why not arrange a hot air balloon flight with champagne? Now that’s how you enjoy the scenery here! Alternatively, you might like to arrange a walk in Glendalough in Wicklow.

The next day, it’s time for tea! You’ll board a restored barge and cruise down the Grand Canal. The interior of the barge is cosy with a wood burning stove, gentle music and countryside views. Later on, there is the option of heading to Mondello Park for a drive your dream car, from a Supercar or have a go in a BMW.

On day 9, after a full Irish breakfast, you’ll be transferred to Dublin Airport for your flight home.
