Holidays to Brazil

Beating with a rhythm that envelopes the whole country, a holiday to Brazil is like opening the door to a world full of vibrant and exciting adventures. Expect dazzling landscapes, wondrous natural wonders and fabulous beaches, not to mention the tastes and sounds that will awaken your senses.

Spend your days exploring the rainforest on narrow river boats, looking out in awe at the exotic birds and fauna and seeing the incredible 'meeting of the waters' where you'll see the dark waters of the River Negro merging with the Amazon Rainforest. Or trek through the dense vegetation of the Amazon, learning about the fragile ecosystem, listening to the chatter of the howler monkeys and meeting local tribes.

The wildlife in Brazil will not disappoint. Spot beautiful jaguars, pink dolphins, three-toed sloths moving slowly through the trees. piranhas and toucans in the rivers and canopies of the Amazon rainforest.

Wander the sprawling streets of Rio de Janeiro under the protective eye of the iconic Christ the Redeemer statue. Take a cable car up to Sugarloaf Mountain and look out below at the beautiful city bound by the cobalt blue Atlantic Ocean - visit at sunset for a truly breath-taking view.

For some colonial architecture, head to Salvador - one of the oldest cities in the Americas with a fascinating history. Drive a few hours from the city, and you'll end up in Lençóis - gateway to the Chapada Diamantina, a national park full of gorgeous mountain peaks, blue water caves, lakes, and waterfalls.

See the mighty Iguaçu Falls, the largest waterfall system in the world that's so vast that it spans the Brazilian and Argentinian border. Spot wild animals like jaguars with a trip to one of Brazil's best kept secrets, the biodiverse wetlands of Pantanal.

Once you've had your fill of incredible wildlife, spectacular scenery and buzzing cities, relax on the beaches of Emerald Coast or in the upscale resort of Búzios.

Summer comes to an end, but it's still a good time to visit the cities, beaches and Iguazu Falls.

Excellent time to visit Pantanal and southern Brazil., as well as the cities. There are fewer festivities in May so it'll be less crowded.

Spots of showers in Bahia but dry and pleasant in the Rio and Sao Paulo area. Also a great time to visit the Amazon, the Pantanal and the Lencois Maranhenses.

Excellent month to go to the Amazon and visit the Pantanal. The tropical beaches in the north will be pleasant. It'll be winter in the South so beaches in Rio and Sao Paolo may not be ideal.
