Lima City Tour with chocolate and Pisco

Mix culture and cuisine on this exciting tour of Lima. Over several hours you’ll explore the historic downtown area before hitting up a chocolate museum followed by a pisco museum - what better way to enjoy Lima?

You’ll kick off the tour in the main square to admire the baroque-style Presidential Palace, Archbishop's Palace and Lima Cathedral. From here it’s on to Aliaga House.  The oldest colonial mansion in Lima, it’s kitted out with some seriously impressive vintage furnishings and beautiful tile work.

Next up you’ll swing by one of the city’s best preserved colonial churches, Saint Francis' Church, where you’ll be able to explore the catacombs. Once part of the city’s cemeteries, tour guides estimate there are around 75,000 bodies below this church.

After all that exploring you’ll take a well-earned trip to the Choco Museum in downtown Lima. Take a wander through the museum, partake in a workshop and sample some of the world’s finest chocolate. Afterwards you’ll visit the Pisco Museum where you’ll learn how to whip up the perfect Pisco Sour, the national drink of Peru. Chin chin!

Let's talk
The time I spent travelling through South and Central America not only allowed me to perfect my Spanish, but also gave me real taste of authentic Latin America. The food, wine, landscapes and wildlife keep me going back for more whenever I can.
