Let's talk
I grew up living and travelling across South America, and Argentina’s contrasts of vibrant cities, striking glaciers, emerald lakes and rolling vineyards are remarkable. I will never forget the perfect moment, getting drenched at Iguazú Falls and being surrounded by bright yellow butterflies.

Places to go in Argentina

The landscapes in Argentina are absolutely incredible, and so diverse. In the north you have the rugged Argentine Andes where you'll find the lush flatlands of La Pampa, and the Spanish-style provincial capital of Salta.

To the west is the beautiful Lake District with towns like Bariloche, famed for its alpine-style architecture and excellent skiing, and laid-back Villa La Angostura - one of the prettiest towns in the region. In the south you've got the Los Glaciers National Park, home to the biggest ice caps in the world outside of Antartica and Greenland, easily accessed from El Calafate and El Chaltén. Last but not least is the spectacular Iguazú Falls, with 275 waterfalls cascading down over Brazil and Argentina, creating a stunning, shimmering wall of water.

Of course, a trip to Argentina wouldn't be complete without a visit to Buenos Aires, the country's capital and hub for art, food, tango shows and locals determined to keep the fun going all night long. Round off your trip in Mendoza where you can sample the famous Malbec wineries, and tour the incredible contemporary art scene. Need some help deciding where to go? Call us now on: 020 3510 5777

September to November is a good time to visit the Lake District, and Mendoza (the 'wine region') can be visited anytime.
