Champagne Hot Air Balloon Safari

Taking off as the sun rises, this hot air balloon safari will let you drift over the untouched wilderness the Okavango Delta, whilst giving you a ‘bird’s eye view’ game watching experience. With the air at its calmest during the early hours, and the spectacular morning glow lighting up the rivers, plains and forests below you, this will be a truly magical start to the day.

The Okavango Delta is home to cheetahs, elephants, hippos and lions as well as crocodiles, so keep your eyes peeled as you float through the sky as you never know what you will spot beneath you.

This unrivalled experience includes a bush breakfast when you land back on the ground again, as well as celebratory champagne, all before heading back to your lodge for the rest of the day. There is a guide on board who will help with animal sightings, and you want this to be a truly unforgettable experience, there is the option of having a private hot air balloon safari.

Please note this tour is only on offer if travelling to Botswana between April and October.

Let's talk
I grew up near the picturesque fishing village of Rye, in East Sussex. However, my heart has always been in Africa since I was a young girl. Having a South African father meant my love for the history and colour of this fantastic continent has been a prominent part of my life, and so getting to travel to seven different countries over the last few years has been a dream come true. One of my highlights was flying in the famous yellow bi-plane across Lewa Wildlife Conservancy in Kenya.
