Let's talk
After my first safari at 12 years old, I haven’t stopped going back to Africa, and love South Africa for its incredible cities, world class food and wine, and of course the wildlife. My favourite memory is tracking elephants through the bush in Phinda Game Reserve. Despite their size, they’re so good at hiding!

Places to go in South Africa

Visit the Kruger National Park, the largest game reserve in South Africa and home to the 'Big 5' (lion, leopard, rhinoceros, elephant, and cape buffalo). If you’re feeling extra daring, take a cage dive with the great white sharks in Gansbaai.

For some history, take a guided tour through the eighty-two different battlefields of KwaZulu Natal and learn about the significant battles and war related incidents across the coast of South Africa.

Be sure to visit Table Mountain, a flat-topped mountain towering over Cape Town. Take a trip to the top of the mountain in a cable car for breathtaking views over the city and its surrounding coastline. Be sure to see the Cango Caves, the oldest tourist attraction in South Africa. Explore the underground network of passageways with openings as narrow as 26cm.

For wine buffs, relax and enjoy the delicious wines from the sun-kissed vineyards around Cape Town and visit the Stellenbosch region in Western Cape to sample some of the best wine around.
