Beautiful sunset in Koh Rong Island
Discover Koh Rong, Cambodia Coast
You could spend days wandering the deserted white sands of Koh Rong. It's simply gorgeous. Sometimes referred to as an 'island paradise' by visitors (we'd have to agree with them!), Koh Rong is located just off the Cambodian Coast and is one of the largest islands in Cambodia. With its pristine beaches, seven bays, abundance of marine live and dense forest, there's something for everyone to enjoy here.
Snorkel in the glittery waters to spot sergeant fish, parrotfish, diamond fish and blue-spotted rays. You can kayak to Pagoda Island (an island with just a pagoda and a few monks) and Koh Toch Beach. There's a dive centre as well offering diving and PADI courses.
Zoom your way down the exhilarating 160 metre zip-line at High Point Adventure Park set in the jungle. The views from up high are simply immense, and adrenaline lovers will enjoy the climbing and rope-walking available.
There's so many beaches for you to discover and they all have their own personality. Some of them are party beaches whilst others are secluded and family friendly. Whatever your beach preferences, you'll be able to find the perfect one in Koh Rong. Bonus: there's hammocks dotted around the island for you to flop down in.
Wait until the sun sets and darkness descends, then wade into the water and watch as the island comes alive with sparkling plankton. If you can, take your snorkel mask to see what they look like underwater!
