Colourful sunset over the river in Kampot, Cambodia
- Super riverside restaurant
- Charming guestrooms
Rikitikitavi (yep, it’s a mouthful!) is a converted rice barn on the riverside in Kampot. The curious name comes from a Rudyard Kipling short story, Rikki-Tikki-Tavi. It’s perfectly positioned to experience rural Cambodian life in an area of the country that’s surrounded by rice paddies, salt fields and mountains. You can explore the region on foot, or hire a motorbike or tuktuk to travel further.
Just seven charming and characterful rooms make up this little hotel. Each guestroom is comfortably furnished with all the amenities you need for a relaxing stay, such as air conditioning, free Wi-Fi and a TV and DVD player. The two large family rooms welcome children and have private patios.
The hotel’s small restaurant is a casual place to enjoy breakfast and light snacks and enjoy the view over the Kampong Bye River and the Elephant Mountains.
You’ll be warmly welcomed at this friendly hotel, and you'll find it hard to leave.
