Yangshuo Countryside Cooking Course

Want to learn to cook Chinese like a pro? You’ll never need to order a takeaway again after this authentic cooking course!

In the morning you’ll head out to the local market where you’ll browse fresh produce, meat and fish. You’ll select the ingredients you’d like to work with and then it’s into the beautiful Yangshuo countryside to get cooking.

You’ll be making five Chinese dishes under the guide of an English speaking local chef who will walk you through each dish with a demonstration. You’ll then head to your own personal cooking station - complete with gas burner and traditional Chinese cleaver – to have a go yourself. Don’t worry if you mess up or get stuck, the chef is on hand to help.

The dishes you’ll make change but could include everything from pork stuffed dumplings to cashew chicken. You’ll always get to make the local delicacy – beer fish. After searing the fish and stir frying the vegetables you’ll cook it up in beer to create a delicious rich sauce.

After all your hard culinary work you’ll get to sit down with your fellow chefs and tuck into your epic Chinese feast all while soaking up the wonderful countryside views.
