When to go to Kowloon
This is one of the coldest months to visit Hong Kong. Many shops remain closed during the Chinese New Year - check dates before you plan your trip.
It remains dry and cloudy, and depending on Chinese New Year some shops will be closed during this period.
March is one of the best times of year to visit Hong Kong when spring is beginning to bloom and temperatures start to rise.
This is a great time of year to travel. The evenings can still be a little cool so pack a light jumper in case.
May is the start of typhoon season and therefore not a great time to travel.
Humidity is very hot and humid, with occasional downpours and sunny periods. Temperatures vary between the mid 20s-30s.
July is the sunniest month in Hong Kong, but showers continue and there is a high chance of typhoons.
Temperatures and humidity levels remain high, making trekking and exploring more uncomfortable.
September is one of the best months to visit Hong Kong. You'll have occasional days of rain but humidity eases off.
October is a great time to visit with lower temperatures and plenty of sunshine.
Light breezes and comfortable temperatures make November a pleasant month for exploring Hong Kong. Pack a light coat or jumper for the evenings.
Winters in Hong Kong are cool and dry. If you don't mind the cold, this is a good time to explore the sights.
