Holidays to Brazil
Beating with a rhythm that envelopes the whole country, a holiday to Brazil is like opening the door to a world full of vibrant and exciting adventures. Expect dazzling landscapes, wondrous natural wonders and fabulous beaches.
Spend your days exploring the rainforest on narrow river boats, looking out in awe at the exotic birds and fauna and seeing the incredible 'meeting of the waters' where you'll see the dark waters of the River Negro merging with the Amazon Rainforest. Or trek through the dense vegetation of the Amazon, learning about the fragile ecosystem, listening to the chatter of the howler monkeys and meeting local tribes.
Wander the sprawling streets of Rio de Janeiro under the protective eye of the iconic Christ the Redeemer statue. Take a cable car up to Sugar Loaf Mountain and look out below at the beautiful city bound by the cobalt blue Atlantic Ocean. Go there at sunset for a truly breath-taking view. Catch a buzzing football match surrounded by some of the most football mad people you'll ever meet or scope out the energetic nightlife.
For some colonial architecture, head to Salvador. It's one of the oldest cities in the Americas with a fascinating history. Sadly, it was one of the first sites of the slave trade. Drive for a few hours from the city, and you'll end up in Chapada Diamantina, a park full of gorgeous mountain peaks, blue water caves, lakes, and waterfalls.
See the mighty Iguazu falls, the largest waterfall system in the world, so big that it spans over the Brazilian and Argentinian border. Spot wild animals like jaguars with a trip to one of Brazil's best kept secret the biodiverse Pantanal.
