Holidays to Colombia
Pushing its old reputation aside, Colombia is emerging to be the hottest destination in Latin America. There's so much Colombia has to offer you, from rare wildlife, diverse food that differs depending on the region you're in, wild dancing and a buzzing nightlife.
If you're a history buff you'll love Bogotá. Full of museums and interesting architecture, the capital city houses the world's largest collection of gold. If your love of history is more Indiana Jones-esque, then you'll love trekking through the jungle to find the Lost City (Ciudad Perdida), lost during the Spanish conquest only to be discovered again in the 1970s.
If you have a heart for adventure and love going off the beaten track, San Gil is definitely the place to go. It's great for rafting, mountain biking, hiking and paragliding.

When to go to Colombia
Colombia is close to the equator meaning temperatures are pretty stable throughout the year. Colombia does get some rain though and so the best time to go overall is between December and March when the rainfall is at its lowest. However as with most tropical countries, the rain is followed by bursts of sunshine, so if you don't mind getting wet, you can enjoy Colombia all year round.
